President & Founder

Alexandra (“Alex”) Shockey founded Edit Media Consulting after a decade at FedEx, where she led Global Social Media and Media Relations. With nearly 20 years of marketing and communications experience, she has managed campaigns spanning business launches, product rollouts, and global initiatives. Her expertise in strategy, research, and media has driven national recognition, with coverage in outlets like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Bloomberg. A University of Mississippi graduate with a master’s from the University of Memphis, Shockey is passionate about helping businesses stand out through compelling storytelling and data-driven marketing. She holds a Humans Factors International certification in user experience research and user analysis.

Adam Horlock
COO

Adam Horlock is a media relations and operational leadership expert with over 15 years of experience. He has held executive roles across industries, launched new offices, and collaborated with FOX, Gordon Ramsay Productions, and Food Network, making multiple national TV appearances. A contributing writer for Entrepreneur Magazine since 2020, his work has been featured in USA Today, Yahoo! Finance, and TechTimes. In 2022, he founded Pinnacle Public Relations, and in 2023, co-launched the Bourbon and Business Podcast. He is also writing his first book, The Lies Brands Tell Themselves, and the Truths That Set Them Free.
